Today is my 2nd day in PwC, an accounting firm which i initially refused to enter.
Yesterday was a longggg orientation. There were ice breaking session, presentations, coffee breaks, briefings, blah blah blahhh....n they made me zzzZ...
haha i pity those who r in spa assurance n audit...gosh 3 days of orientation in imperial hotel!
We were then each distributed a laptop...n it has became my burden=( coz i needa bring it to everywhereee...work, lrt, dinner if i eat out....sigh i dun understand y cant we juz keep it in the office =(
This morning me n the other 2 interns reported to the 14th floor at 8.30am, but the sec, Ms Vasuki was not there yet. So we picked the best feng shui place to settle down n set up our laptops while waiting for her:P
Who knows....
I was sticked to that chair till......lunch time. ooh damn.
I was not assigned any task..n the only thing i could do is ONLINE. By understanding that knowledge is *ahem ahem* the food for our soul, I decided to ...read news rather than facebooking (1st day must ban yeh abit=P)! so i ended up reading all the news in malaysiakini and the star online :P crazyyy ler me. My manager kept telling me...u can chill 1st, i'll give u a list of work after lunch k, relax 1st...haha. n i was like, Okie...alrite...OKIee...alriteee...no problem...
During lunch time, the whole bunch of us (almost everyone in the department) actually went for lunch together, which was out of my expectation. cool huh. we were told that most of the time the consultants will be out at the clients' place to work, n usually there will be only a few of them staying in the office. After lunch, we went back to the office n had a 50th birthday celebration for the big boss's sec, Ms Lilian. They told us that it was juz the start for the season celebration!
*erm hopefully*
After munching the oh-damn-nice white chocolate bday cake (ngeks=P), we had a briefing on the job scope n other stuff. my manager n other consultants said, 'PLEASE feel free to leave at 5.30pm. BUT we'll welcome u if u wanna stay n help us' *evil smile.....hahahaa..so yay...definitely no OT unless we wanna stay. like today, they shoo-ed us back at 5.30pm..haha, they said we r suppose to have fun and enjoy our work. *dun stress dun stress dun stress*
after the boss left to the client's place, the russian consultant wif super goodlooking features, Alex started to draw comic on the glass n it's called, 'The Birth & Death of a Legend'. wat da heck??!!! nobody gets the story, but he promised me that he'll tell me the story after he plot it nicely. he was so serious bout it..hahahahah...damn funny la him. n n n he also wrote a bday poem for Ms Lilian. awww...this ang moh damn cute la.
Well Im currently assigned to assist him in the BAT project n later the Mas project. will be goin to KLIA soon i guess?
Argh..but i really dunno wat to expect in these 2 months time. I hope that the wonderful atmosphere will be remained during my whole internship period. hehe. The people there have really made a difference to the work place, it actually motivates me to go to work. They r so cool...n hey, we'll be having a department dinner + movie outing at the Gardens this friday nite....woot! it's time to bond, ppl =P
but but...i still dunno the way to d car park near sentral. dumb me =X
p/s : though now i like the ppl over there, but i cant guarantee i'll still like them tml! hehe...u know...路遥知马力，日久见人心...=P
